Medewi Beach is a beautiful beach area located near the village of Pulukan in West Bali. Medewi lies in the middle of Bali at a distance of about 75 km from Denpasar and 34 km west of Tabanan. A small and remote tourist spot, Medewi Beach is regarded as one of Bali's premier surfing destinations. This place is little far from Kuta and there is hardly any night life in this area. This is one of the reasons why Medewi Beach never becomes over crowded by tourists. The best time to surf here is early in the morning before the atmosphere becomes windy. The wave current of the water is mostly light here and the waves are easiest, which makes it an ideal spot for amateur surfers.
